Technical Environment Artist
We are currently on the lookout for someone with Houdini (surface operation) experience (or would be willing to learn) to join our small team, to mainly work on the creation of environmental assets for use in a driver in the loop simulator for one of our longest standing F1 clients. We also work with several top sports car manufacturers providing 3D visualisation services, so if F1 and cars are a passion of yours, then we want to hear from you.
About the role:
You will be expected to have a good understanding of traditional modelling and texturing processes, including unwrapping and texturing of assets ideally with 3DS max, Photoshop, Substance Painter, RizomUV and Quixel Megascans experience. A basic understanding and interest in real-time material/shader development within UE5 would be beneficial.
The main responsibilities of this role will be to continue to strengthen our procedural modelling abilities, updating our existing modelling workflows where possible to a procedural one using Houdini. This will include the modelling and mapping of assets such as buildings, grandstands, fencing, street furniture, curbing, barriers.......
Remote working options can be discussed once established within the team and familiar with how we work but the majority of the time, you would be expected to work at our offices in Bramley, Hampshire.
