When McLaren Special Operations were refreshing their Brand Film to include the full suite of services they provide, the W1's customizability became a highlight. To showcase this, Q3D studios was tasked with visualising 8 different W1 specs in a 15 second animated intro.

We were given full creative authority for how to achieve this in a stylish and eye-catching manner. We experimented with many transition looks, but settled on a paint-flake effect. This final transition effect was produced through a combination of real-time UE5 Niagara and shader effects and post-production compositing in DaVinci Resolve.
