After several years experience working with Unity3D and the rise in manufacturers looking to create virtual car configurators, Q3D were given the task of exploring the pros and cons of using Unity as the rendering engine for a desktop based car configurator.

Visual realism along with the CAD data processing tools were assesed to see whether Unity was a good fit for Burrows existing pipeline.
